Instructions
1-Mix the sauce: by combining 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon mustard, 2 tablespoons sweet relish, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika. Stir well and refrigerate until you’re ready to use it.
2-Cook the fries: using an air fryer or oven as per the package instructions, aiming for a crispy texture that complements the other fillings.
3-SautΓ© the chopped onion: in 2 tablespoons butter on a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat until it’s softened and golden, then lower the heat to keep it warm.
4-Cook the 1 pound ground beef patties: on the same griddle, smashing them thin for even cooking. Add mustard on top and season with hamburger seasoning or alternatives like salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Flip once a crust forms, cook through, and then chop the patties into pieces.
5-Lay out a warm tortilla: and layer it with the sauce, cooked fries, 1 slice of cheese, chopped burger pieces, grilled onions, another slice of cheese, and more sauce for extra flavor.
6-Roll the burrito tightly: with the seam side down, then toast it on the griddle over medium heat until both sides are golden and crispy. Repeat for the remaining burritos.
