Ingredients
– 8 biscuits separated into 16 layers (not flaky layers)
– 1 cup cherry pie filling
– 1/2 cup melted butter
– 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
– 3-4 tablespoons whole milk at room temperature
Instructions
1-Separate each of the 8 biscuits into two layers to make 16 circles, then press each layer into a 4-inch circle for the base.
2-Place about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each circle, then fold and pinch the edges to seal, shaping them into balls with even dough thickness.
3-Brush both the tops and bottoms of the bombs with the 1/2 cup of melted butter for extra flavor and golden color.
4-For air frying, spray the basket with nonstick spray and arrange the bombs about 2 inches apart; cook for 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
5-For oven baking, spray a muffin tin and place the bombs in the cups; bake for 12-14 minutes until golden. Remember, well-used silicone muffin tins might not need spray.
6-Let the bombs cool slightly after cooking, then prepare the glaze by mixing 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar with 3-4 tablespoons of whole milk until smooth.
7-Dip or drizzle the bombs with the glaze and let them set on a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature for the best experience.
