Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 325ยฐF (163ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to avoid any sticking issues. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt until they’re well blended. Next, fold in the sweetened shredded coconut to create that signature mixture, making sure everything is evenly combined.

2-With wet hands, scoop out the mixture and shape it into 1-inch balls, placing them on your prepared baking sheet and pressing a small well in the center of each. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes until the cookies turn golden brown, which enhances their flavor just right. Right after taking them out of the oven, press a chocolate candy into the center of each cookie, then let them cool for 10 minutes on the sheet before moving to a rack.
