Ingredients

2 packages (8 oz each) softened cream cheese

3 large avocados, diced small

1 lb crispy crumbled bacon

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

Β½ cup diced jalapenos (pickled or fresh)

Β½ cup sliced green onions

Β½ cup chopped cilantro

ΒΌ cup diced red onions

1 teaspoon salt

Β½ teaspoon black pepper

Β½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

1 cup flour

1 egg

1 cup buttermilk

12 cups breadcrumbs

2+ cups oil for frying

Instructions

1-Fry the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and crumble once cooled.

2-Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl for 2-3 minutes until creamy, then add all ingredients except avocados and mix well.

3-Gently fold in the diced avocados, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for one hour.

4-For the coating, place flour in one bowl, whisk egg and buttermilk in another, and put breadcrumbs in a third.

5-Form the mixture into balls, roll in flour, then egg mixture, and finally breadcrumbs, and freeze on a baking sheet for about one hour.

6-To fry, heat oil and cook 6-8 balls at a time, turning frequently, until golden brown, about 2 minutes, then drain on paper towels.
