Instructions
1-In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup (236 ml) water and 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar over medium-low heat. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves, then remove from heat and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
2-Pour 1 cup (236 ml) fresh-squeezed lemon juice into a pitcher, then add the cooled sugar-water mixture.
3-Stir in the remaining 5 cups (1.18 L) of water and mix well.
4-Serve over ice or refrigerate before serving.
