– 1/4 cup water for the honey syrup

– 3/4 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for the honey syrup)

– Vanilla ice cream (quantity as desired, for serving)

– Cream (quantity as desired, for serving)

– Lightly toasted almond flakes or slivered almonds (quantity as desired, for serving)

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease your baking pan to keep the cake from sticking trust me, it’s a game-changer.

2-In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients like flour, baking powder, and salt until they’re evenly blended.

3-Now, in another bowl, whisk the wet ones: honey, butter, eggs, milk, and orange zest if you’re using it.
