πŸ‹ This recipe is quick to prepare, delivering restaurant-quality results that are healthy and delicious at home.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

– Β½ pound fresh steelhead fillet, skin on

– 1 tablespoon butter

– 2 teaspoons minced garlic

– Juice of half a large fresh lemon

– 1 lemon slice cut in halves for garnish

– 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley or dill

– Kosher salt (to taste)

– Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

1-First, rinse the steelhead fillet and pat it dry with paper towels. Optionally remove any large pin bones and lightly season with salt and pepper, then set it aside as per the directions.

2-Second, melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and add minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant to build that flavorful base.

3-Third, place the fillet in the pan flesh side down and cook for about 4 minutes before flipping.

4-Fourth, cook for another 4 minutes or until it reaches 145 degrees internally, ensuring it’s tender and flaky.

5-Fifth, remove from the pan, squeeze fresh lemon juice over it, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

6-Sixth, garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately for the best texture.
