πŸ‘ This Peaches and Cream Layered Jello Recipe combines fruity peach gelatin with a smooth creamy layer for a refreshing and visually appealing dessert.
πŸ₯„ Its simple, step-by-step process makes it accessible for all skill levels, perfect for gatherings and kid-friendly occasions.

  • Total Time: 3 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12-15 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 packages (6 oz each) peach gelatin, prepared according to package instructions

2 packets unflavored gelatin (14 grams or 1 1/2 tablespoons)

1 cup boiling hot water

1 cup cold water

14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

15 oz can sliced peaches, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices

Instructions

1-First, prepare the peach gelatin by following the package instructions, using 2 cups ice water for faster cooling. Pour it into your 9Γ—13 inch glass casserole dish and refrigerate until it sets, which takes 1 to 2 hours. While that’s chilling, think about how this step ensures a solid base for the creamy middle layer.

2-Next, after the first layer has chilled for at least 45 minutes, make the cream layer by dissolving 2 packets of unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water and mix in the sweetened condensed milk until blended, then let it sit at room temperature for no more than 45 minutes before gently pouring it over the set peach layer.

3-Adding the Peach Layer: Once the cream layer is nearly set after about 5 minutes in the fridge, arrange the sliced peaches on top to keep them in place. Return the dish to the fridge to fully chill. For the final step, prepare the second package of peach gelatin as per instructions, let it cool to room temperature, and gently pour it over the fruit layer to avoid melting the previous ones.

Notes

🍨 Use 2 cups ice water in the first gelatin layer to speed setting.
⏳ Allow the cream gelatin mixture to cool before pouring to prevent melting the layer below.
πŸ‘ Arrange peaches on the cream layer before it fully sets to keep them from floating or sliding.
❄️ Cool the final gelatin layer before pouring to maintain distinct layers.
πŸ”₯ If gelatin clumps, gently reheat liquid and stir until fully dissolved.
🍊 Try different fruit and gelatin flavor combinations like mandarin oranges with orange gelatin.
🍍 For a firmer fruit presence, add extra canned fruit slices.
