๐Ÿ This Ravioli Lasagna recipe is a simple and delicious way to enjoy classic Italian flavors with minimal effort.
๐Ÿง€ Perfect for busy weeknights, it combines layers of ravioli and cheese in a comforting baked dish you’ll love.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 jars (25 oz each) marinara sauce

40 oz frozen cheese ravioli (spinach cheese, plain cheese, or meat ravioli can be used)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/3 cup chopped fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

1-First, spread half of one jar of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of your prepared baking dish. This creates a flavorful base that keeps the ravioli from drying out. Next, layer half of the 40 oz frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce, arranging them neatly for even cooking. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top to add that irresistible gooey texture.

2-Continue by adding another layer of sauce using the rest of the first jar, then place the remaining ravioli on top. Finish with the remaining marinara sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella, and 1/4 cup of Parmesan to seal in all the flavors. Cover the dish with aluminum foil, making sure the sprayed side is down to prevent any sticking during baking. The preparation time for this step is just about 10 minutes, making it ideal for quick weeknight dinners.

3-Bake the covered dish for 30 minutes, allowing the ingredients to meld together beautifully. Once that’s done, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce bubbles around the edges. Let the dish sit for 5 minutes before serving, which gives the layers time to set and makes it easier to cut. If you like, garnish with 1/3 cup of chopped fresh basil leaves for a fresh pop of flavor.
