1/2 of an onion (optional)
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons oil (grapeseed oil recommended)
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper or to taste
Instructions
1-Peel and cut potatoes into wedges or fries for even cooking.
2-Rinse and pat dry to reduce starch and oil splatter.
3-SautΓ© onion in butter for 3 minutes on medium-high heat.
4-Add potatoes and oil, cover, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden.
5-Reduce heat and stir every 3-4 minutes for about 15 minutes.
6-Sprinkle salt and pepper, then check for doneness.
7-Optionally add herbs or serve with cucumber for extra flair.
